The French beauty industry has signed a statement of full support for the glass industry
Recently, 12 French companies in the beauty industry signed a statement to help companies deal with some of the consequences of Covid-19. They want to prioritize French companies on the supply side and maintain the quality and scope of their cooperation with the French glass industry.
The glass industry is an essential part of its value chain and helps promote sustainable innovation, the statement said.
The statement was co-signed by major players in the beauty industry, all members of a consortium of beauty bodies, including: Biologique Recherche, Chanel, Clarins, Coty, Guerlain, Hermes, Kenzo Parfums, Interparfums, L ‘Oreal, Parfums Christian Dior, Parfums Givenchy, Puig, Shiseido, Sisley, Sarbec and Sothys.
“By expressing its solidarity with the glass industry, the cosmetics industry is once again demonstrating its driving role in protecting and developing the industry and defending ‘Made in France’,” said Patrick O ‘Quin, president of the Alliance of Beauty Agencies.
